Read further to find out what not to do as a bride!

1.       Sit back silently while the make-up artist (MUA) ruins their makeup
Have you ever been in a situation when a MUA is applying layer after layer after layer of foundation while you asked for a natural look? Or instead of glowing cheeks you walk out looking like a clown? Or even worst: all this is happening to you on your wedding day yet you are too afraid to say anything.
Although MUA’s are experts in their field - or at least they should be – it does not mean that they have the right to do whatever they want. Remember, you are the one paying for it. If there is something you are not comfortable with, just tell them politely. You do not want to look at your wedding pictures thinking ‘if only I had said something’. It is always better to meet your MUA a few weeks before your wedding and discuss with them what you want, so that there are no surprises.

2.       Becoming a bridezilla
The idea of getting married and starting a new life can be sometimes a bit overwhelming for the bride and every minor thing can look like a huge hurdle standing between you and your perfect wedding. It does not mean that you have to compromise on everything, but there should be a balance. Constantly worrying and obsessing will make you look depressed and grumpy. Just relax and enjoy.

3.       Excessive dieting
There is nothing wrong with looking fit on your wedding day. However, if you are spending hours in gym and surviving on water and vegetables only, you are being unhealthy. Focusing too much on losing weight and making unrealistic goals can negatively affect your health. If you are on a crash diet and manage to lose some weight, the chances are higher that you will gain that weight after your wedding. Remember, it is not just about losing weight, but being healthy.

4.       Experimenting with your skin
Every bride wants to have a flawless and glowing skin, but some take it too far. It is not a good idea to unnecessarily experiment different remedies or product few weeks prior to your wedding day. If you do worry about it, seek advice from a professional, but do not just blindly apply anything on your face.

5.       Taking too much responsibilities
Although you want to plan everything, you do not have to do it all alone. Organizing a wedding brings lots of responsibilities and can be very exhausting. If it is becoming too much to handle, just seek help from your family and friends or hire a wedding planner. This way, you will have more time to enjoy some times with the loved ones before your wedding.

  1. You have pointed out these mistakes so realistically. Brides never even thought about this that they are making these mistakes. It's time to keep them in mind when you become a bride.
